Default Indonesian Amateur Radio Service Changes
On August 31, 2009, The Minister of Communication and Information Technology of the Republic of Indonesia has issued a new regulation pertaining to Amateur Radio service, called PERMEN33/2009. The highlights of the new regulation are as follows:
Siaga class (YD/YG - Novice) is now exempt from any code proficiency while Penggalang class (YC/YF - General) requires only 5 WPM code proficiency and Penegak class (YB/YE - Extra) 8 WPM.
The changes to the power allowance to the amateur radio classes are as follows:
. (30 MHz and below) (above 30 MHz)
Siaga 100 W 75 W
Penggalang 500 W 200 W
Penegak 1000 W 500 W
2000 W power limit is allowed with a special permit from the national organization for EME/Dxpedition/Int'l Contest. Under new regulation, the limitation on the number of pieces of equipment owned is removed. The 40m band is now expanded to become 7.0 to 7.2 MHz
In addition to the existing 80m and 10m band privileges, Siaga class can now operate in:
7.0 to 7.2 MHz including voice (used to be 7.000 to 7.035 CW only)
21.0 to 21.2 MHz (used to be 21.0 to 21.1 MHz only)
In addition to the existing full 80m, 40m, 15m, and 10m band privileges, Penggalang class can now operate in:
14.0 to 14.150 MHz including voice (used to be no privilege in this band)
No changes to the frequency allocation for Penegak class.

Saya juga ikut bergabung dengan " RIAU AMATEUR RADIO MOBILE CLUB " yang dibentuk oleh beberapa teman2 Amateur Radio Operator dalam bentuk kepeduliannya dan kebersamaannya untuk membantu mobilisasi bencana secara cepat serta bantuan komunikasi bencana secara cepat juga , dan juga karena teman2 yang suka berkomunikasi di mobile dari satu tempat ke tempat yang lain atau bisa dikatakan mobile station dari satu kota ke kota lain atau dari satu daerah ke daerah lain yang tujuannya berkomunikasi dari mobile station baik itu di VHF/UHF atau HF serta via reapeter/link , juga mengadakan komunikasi DXing Mobile untuk awards hunting international maupun DXing Mobile untuk awards national ( nusantara ) Dan " AMATEUR RADIO EMERGENCY SERVICE " District Pekanbaru .

first , i joined to Indonesia Amateur Radio Organization ( ORARI ) when it was on 1983 at Orari North Sumatera Province 6 call area District Medan which is my first call yd6vb and upgrade yc6vb , and last contacted on 1987 .
for so long i never make communication in the world anymore again and now im back again between june 2007 i rejoined , so i can say at june , 2007 my first contacted on the air again with my new call yc5vb its Orari Riau Province 5 call area District Pekanbaru . My wife also amateur radio with her call yd5va but she not really serious about these .. its because of me perhaps .

Bugisnese Schooner Pinisi



Ternyata setelah beberapa lama tidak melakukan perjalanan " Berlayar ke Pulau Seribu dengan KLM. Pinisi " yang akhirnya karam di pulau Edam di perairan Kepulauan Seribu yaitu sekitar 40 mil dari kawasan wisata Ancol dan menempuh waktu perjalanan dengan speed boat kurang lebih 1 jam tersebut
